Multiple row selection as a result of choosing an option from a drop down menu

Hello,

I am not sure if this is doable, but I am trying to make a table (schedule) with a drop down menu (chores), so whe I pick one option from the menu multiple rows are highlighted depedning on the lenght of the chore chosen, example from the drop down menu on “chores” I pick vacuum at 7:00 then automatically 4 cells are chosen with the word “vacuum” highlighting an hour and a half (7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30) worth of time, if “mop” is chosen let’s say at 8:00 then the word “mop” will automatically appear on the cells 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 (considering that vacuum wasn’t picked or they would overlap) oh if times overlap is there a way to get a message saying that times are overlapping?   I am using Excel 2013

Time Chores
7:00 Chores
7:30 Chores
8:00 Chores
8:30 Chores
9:00 Chores
9:30 Chores
10:00 Chores
10:30 Chores
11:00 Chores
11:30 Chores
12:00 Chores
12:30 Chores
13:00 Chores
13:30 Chores
14:00 Chores
14:30 Chores

Thank you so very much for your help, I haven’t been able to find something like this anywhere online.
