I have a timetable for my school. In the first column are the staff. Across the rows are the days of the week. The content of the table is which class each teacher teaches, when. I would like to be able to have a list of all the classes separately and for Excel to be able to tell me which teacher teaches that class and how often. So essentially, a function that searches a table for a class code, returns the row title, and the number of times that code has appeared in that row. The same bit of data may appear in other rows too, so there would be multiple answers. I can’t work out how to do it! Please help!
