Moving value of cell into another if row contains “x”

hi there,

I have a number of excel price lists I am working on and I need to know the following:

How do I move the value of a number of different cells in a column to another column if the rows contain e.g. “AD”

So for example, I have some references in a column like P2345-00-AD, P567554-00-AD and in the same row in column K I have the price. I need to move all prices in rows containing references ending in -AD to column E.

If I simply filter by ending -AD and then copy and paste the column K list into column E. When I unfilter all of the references inbetween that do not contain -AD have also moved into column E.

There must be an easy fix, how on earth do I do this?

Many thanks,
