Arranging List of Data into Multiple Columns

In Excel 2016, I have a list of daily temperatures for my home town since 1961 to the present day. It consists of two columns, one for the date and one for the temperature that day. Now I would like to rearrange this data so that I have the day of the year on the right header column, and the year on the top header row. (Essentially, every row will be a different date of the year, and every column will be a different year.) How can I arrange this without manually moving around thousands of cells manually?
