I’m having some difficulty figuring out how to plot a lot of graphs at the same time and also how to hide values that are blank. When Googling for help, I found that building a macro may be helpful. But I’ve never done anything like that before so I wanted to reach out to see what others may recommend. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more details on my data.
I’ll refer to the rows as Variable A and the columns as Outcome X. I’m interested in plotting all the outcomes for each value of Variable A. The problem I’m having is that Variable A has over 1,000 values as Outcome X has over 700 values. My goal is to create a plot with each value of Variable A and show the Outcomes associated with it. This leads to the second issue, which is how to deal with the values that are blank. If I plot the graphs with the blanks, it makes it impossible to read the graphs.
Below, I give a simple overview of what my data looks like. Using the example below, here are the plots I’m interested in making:
A1 with outcome X2 and X4; A2 with outcome X1, X3, and X4; A3 with outcome X3
X1 X2 X3 X4
A1 0 25 0 81
A2 12 0 15 90
A3 0 0 67 0
(Notes: My data is simple counts. The cells are blank when there is no value.)
