Sourcing Manager


Could you please help. I m on Excel 2013.

I have a large file and would like to copy the “cell above” to the “cell below” on all the blanks that i would select in a column.

Vendor X     —— sub-seg A

  (Blank)      —— sub-seg B

  (Blank)      —— Sub-seg C

Vendor Y      —— sub-seg D

  (Blank)      —— sub-seg C

I know how to select all the blanks in a column, but not how to copy the data above to the data below as many times as needed, up to the next vendor name.

If you could help me with the steps and formula, it would be nice.
