Hi,

I am a contract developer working for a company going back in time to the desire for a VBA application so I am brand new at this.

I am looking at a “Find Last Row” function and can’t understand, based on published definitions, how it could possibly work. Here is the “code”:

lRow = Cells.Find(What:=”*”, _

After:=Range(“A1”), _

LookAt:=xlPart, _

LookIn:=xlFormulas, _

SearchOrder:=xlByRows, _

SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _

MatchCase:=False).Row

What is getting me is the “After:=Range(“A1″)” and the “SearchDirection:=xlPrevious”. So we are starting at the top of the spreadsheet and searching up. How could this function possibly find the last row???

Thank you

Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News.

Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News?

Appreciate it
