I’m using Excel 2013 to create a worksheet that will allow someone to change various data and create different scenarios. It’s really an interactive resource and project sandbox so a manager can view their staff assignments on different projects. When the manager is asked to change resources or resource hours they need to answer what that will do to the project timeline.
I have resources, projects, and resource allocation. I’m not sure how to do this tasks. We aren’t able to use MS Project. When I look at fiscal examples it doesn’t translate for me into a resource and project scenario. I do not have a developer background so I wouldn’t want to do coding changes. The final users of this tool will need it to be simple to use.
Any help, suggestions, blogs, videos would be appreciated.
