How to combine two IF AND statements into one

Can you help me combine these into one statement

 

IF Cell X= “EL” and Cell Y>=1,”EL”, “DC”) IF cell X =”NE” and >=2, “NEL”,”NES”)

    Try this…
    =IF(AND(E1="EL",F1>=1),"EL",IF(AND(E1="EL",F1=2),"NEL","NES")))

    E1 represents your Cell X
    F1 represents your Cell Y

    I have assumed that if you want a response of “DC” then cells X must equal “EL” and cells Y must be less than 1. Please confirm if that assumption is correct. 🙂
