Hi,

Here is my issue.

In column “F3” I have a import time in the format 09:00. In column “T3” I’m trying to create a formula that shows that if the time in F3 is greater than 10:00 it displayes the text “After”, and if it’s less that 10:00 the text displays “Prior”. I’ve tried the following, which gives me a “0” to replace the error =IF(F3=”<10:00″,”Prior”,IF(F3=”>10:00″,”After”,”0″))

Please can you let me know where I’m going wrong.

Thank you for your help.

Hi!

Try this formula…

`=IF(F3< =TIME(10,0,0),"Prior",IF(F3>=TIME(10,0,0),"After","0"))`

Note the addition of the TIME(). The numbers in these brackets represent the time with hours, minutes, seconds.

Hope this helps. 🙂

Hiiiii

+IF(F3<Time(10,00,00),"Prior","After")

very helpful. can u plz tell if I want to calculate time greater than 9:10 am but the condition is if time is less than equal to 9:00 then it shows “9:00” but if the time will 9:11, then it shows 9:11?

i want to calculate a time slab between 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM. i am giving relaxation to employees for 10 minutes, if they come less than or equal to 9:10, then their time should count 9:00 AM, but after 9:10, means 9:11 or greater, it counts actual time, and in final, count difference from actual time till 1:15 AM. i am using below formula but it is not working.

=IF(C9=0,0,(IF(C9<=TIME(9,10,0),"TIME(9,0,0)",TEXT(D9-C9,"h:mm"))))

C9 = time in

D9 = time out

I have a problem where i want multiple conditions dependent on time. here is the formula i created

=if(F3>1.59 AND F3<6.00, "LATE SUBMIT", ELSEIF(F3 "","NOT RECEIVED","CHECKED BY SM"))

I WANT MESSAGE "LATE SUBMIT" IN CELL G3 FOR TIME BETWEEN 2.00 P.M. AND 6.00 P.M.

AND IF TIME IS BETWEEN 9.00 A.M. AND 1.59 P.M. THEN THE MESSAGE IS TO BE "CHECKED BY SM", AND IF THE E3 AND D3 CELLS HAVE SAME NUMBERS THEN MESSAGE MUST BE "NOT RECEIVED" AND LASTLY IF D3, E3 AND F3 CELLS ARE BLANK THEN MESSAGE IN G3 MUST BE "MAIL NOT RECEIVED"

=IF(J3>TIME(0;10;0);”BREACH”;”OK”)

Hello every on…

Please advice me any one I am trying to do that in column f3 if value does not change BEFORE 12:00 in night from “IN” TO “CHD” , Its shows me in next cell ‘need to “CHD”

ThankSss.

Hi Guys,

I need your help, according to our company’s attendance policy, a deduction shall be made for employee’s found tardy/late to work, it’s an accumulative pointing system depending on the sign in time (work starts @ 8:00 AM. As per the policy; one point shall be recorded on every 30 min late/tardy until 12 PM (after 12PM the employee will be considered as absent).

Note: I get the employee’s daily sign in and sign out report through the attendance biometric machine.

For example: if the employee signs in between (8:01-8:30) “one point” will be recorded on him and if he signs in between (8:31-8:59) “two points” will recorded on him and between (9:00-9:30) “three points” and so on until 12:00 PM.

Can any one help me with the formula ?

Thank you
