saving a if statement, once satisfied, automatically

Hi

I was wondering is the following is possible to perform

So i have an if statement and was wondering when the if statement is satisified and therefore produces a value , it is possible to save that value before the if statement returns a false output

or do i have to do it in VBA

    Hi

You could either copy the value and then do a paste special (values only). But then you lose the formula. Otherwise, yes you would have to use a piece of VBA code.

    Thanks
