urgent help with VAT calculations in Excel

HiI wonder if anyone can help me. I need a formula to help calculate VAT paid on items purchased. I do all my books on Excel and there are a lot of purchases so I need a formula that I can copy to other cells without it being corrupted. For example if I put in the total price paid, I need a formula in my nett column to show the nett amount less Vat.Hope you can help. Many thanks

    Hi there

Try this formula to get the Nett cost….

The formula assumes the total price paid is in cell A2. Simply change this to the cell that your total price paid is in.

    Hope it helps!
